Risks

Lethe is new software holding real money. Read this before you put in more than you can afford to lose.
Smart contract risk
A bug in the pool contract, the verifier or the circuit could lose funds. The pool has a balance cap that limits how much could be lost. A deposit that would take the pool over the cap fails.
Trusted setup
The proving key comes from a single-party setup. In theory, whoever ran it could forge proofs. A multi-party ceremony would remove that trust, and is planned.
Key loss and theft
Your balance is controlled by a signature from your wallet. Lose the wallet and the balance is gone. Sign the Lethe message on a fake site and someone else can spend it.
Relayer
If the relayer goes down, you can't send privately through it, but your funds stay safe. Anyone can run a relayer, and you can always call the contract yourself, though then your wallet appears on the send.
Privacy limits
A small pool, matching amounts or quick sends can make you guessable. Lethe can't stop you linking yourself. See Privacy tips.
