Quick start

This takes about five minutes. You'll need a browser wallet like MetaMask or Rabby, and some HYPE on Elysium.

1. Get HYPE on Elysium

Lethe runs on Elysium (chain ID 99901), and the pool holds HYPE, Elysium's native token. If your HYPE is somewhere else, move it to Elysium first. Keep a little extra in your wallet for gas.

2. Connect your wallet

Open lethe.fund and press Connect Wallet. Lethe adds Elysium to your wallet if it isn't there yet, then asks you to sign a message.

The signature is your key. It costs no gas and sends nothing, but anyone who has it can spend your private balance. Only sign on lethe.fund.

3. Add funds

Enter an amount and leave Recipient empty. Press the button and confirm the deposit in your wallet. When it lands, the amount appears as your Private balance.

4. Wait a while

You can send straight away, but you shouldn't. A send right after a deposit of the same size is easy to match. Wait hours rather than minutes, and let other deposits land on top of yours.

5. Send privately

Enter the amount and the recipient address. Pick a Send time: Now, Within 1 hour or Within 6 hours. Your browser builds the proof, which takes a few seconds, and the relayer sends it. The recipient gets the HYPE from the pool, with no sign of your wallet.
