Private sends
A private send pays any Elysium address from your private balance. On-chain, the HYPE comes from the Lethe pool and the transaction is submitted by the relayer. Your wallet isn't on it anywhere.
What happens when you press send
Your browser picks one or two notes from your balance that cover the amount and fee.
It creates a zero-knowledge proof that those notes are in the pool and belong to you, without saying which ones.
The recipient, amount and fee are baked into the proof. Changing any of them breaks it.
The relayer checks the proof, then submits it and pays the gas. The fee comes out of your balance.
Any change, the part of your notes you didn't spend, goes back to your private balance as a new note.

Pick Now to send immediately, or Within 1 hour or Within 6 hours to let the relayer send at a random moment in that window. See Delayed sends.
What it costs
0.25% of the amount plus 0.0005 HYPE, paid to the relayer from your private balance. The send screen shows the exact fee and what the recipient gets before you confirm.
