Private perps

Perps are where your size and strategy are most exposed. Anyone can watch a wallet's positions, entries and liquidation levels. Private perps let you trade from a wallet that has no link to the one you deposited from.
At a glance
- Trades on Hyperliquid
- Funded from Your private balance
- Gas included 0.01 HYPE
- Fee Normal relayer fee
How it works
Elysium doesn't run its own perps market. Perps trade on Hyperliquid, so Lethe funds a brand new trading wallet from the pool and you take it to Hyperliquid.
Pick the Perps tab at the top of the card and enter your margin in HYPE.
Lethe makes a new wallet in your browser and privately sends your HYPE to it, plus a little for gas. Save its key.
Import the key into your wallet and bridge the HYPE from Elysium to HyperEVM on the Elysium bridge.
Open Hyperliquid with the same wallet and transfer the HYPE from HyperEVM into your trading account.
Open and close positions as usual. The market sees a fresh wallet with no history.
How long it takes
Funding the wallet takes seconds. Bridging out of Elysium is a standard withdrawal with a challenge period, so the HYPE can take a while to arrive on HyperEVM. Moving it from HyperEVM into Hyperliquid is quick.
Bringing profits back
When you're done, withdraw from Hyperliquid to HyperEVM and bridge back to Elysium. Then deposit into Lethe from the trading wallet. Your balance joins the pool again and you can send it anywhere later.
Tips
- Use a margin amount that doesn't match a recent deposit of yours.
- Wait a while after depositing before you fund the trading wallet.
- Use a new trading wallet for each strategy you want kept apart.
Hiding the orders too
Private perps hide who you are, but your orders still sit on Hyperliquid's public book. The Lethe dark pool matches orders privately at the mid so most of them never show up there at all.
Coming later
Kinetiq plans to let Elysium apps place orders on Hyperliquid directly, a few weeks after mainnet. When that's live, Lethe can open positions without the bridging steps.
